Here are a few facts about HOPE for Children, Inc.:

  • Fully licensed in the state of Georgia for placing children throughout the U.S.
  • Placed hundreds of children from 15 countries since 1991.
  • Active adoption programs in several countries, giving you great flexibility.
  • Maintain active membership to the Joint Council on International Children Services (JCICS) and subscribes to its Standards of Practice.
  • Committed to quality extensive parent preparation and education, through our own materials, JCICS materials, and our network of cooperating service providers. Proper education helps ensure a successful adoption.
  • Committed to full disclosure of costs, time lines, parent eligibility and health issues of children (all fees and estimated expenses are included in our information packet or by phone).
  • Provide home studies throughout the state of Georgia.
  • Provide resources for educators and counselors that will explain the process and answer your questions to assist you in making well-informed decisions.
  • Committed to support your decisions within the guidelines of generally accepted practices of domestic and international adoption.
  • Offer trained staff and facilitators employed by HOPE for Children to assist you while you travel in the foreign country.
  • Provide leadership in the Georgia Association of Licensed Adoption Agencies (GALAA) and subscribes to its values of professional excellence in adoption.
  • Provide post adoption services including reports, education and resources.
  • Staff members make regular trips to international countries from which we place children to establish and continue relationships with key government personnel.
