Posting Pictures on the Waiting Families Web Page

Having your picture and letter posted on the HOPE for Children website is an exciting, new way to expand adoption possibilities. We want you to be presented often and in the best way possible.

  • Please provide HOPE for Children with one digital picture of yourselves as a couple or a family for our web site. Only digital photos will be used. This photo should be a clear, close-up shot in .jpg format. Email it to Kim@hopeforchildren.org. Also email your birth parent letter to HOPE for Children at the same time.
  • Look at your picture and think about what it might communicate about you (i.e. your attire, environment, etc.)
  • The better the quality, the better it will appear on the web page.
  • If faces are somewhat too bright in the picture, they are likely to look washed out on the web page.
  • If the background is too dark in the picture, it can make the people and the background seem to blend together.
  • The first impression the birth parent(s) sees of you on the web page may be the one that counts!
  • If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Adoption is a very exciting and blessed way to build or add to your family. Remember, be patient. God’s timing is best. Pray (Luke 18:1-8). Get help if you need ideas (Proverbs 15:22). Most important of all, TRUST GOD. If you delight yourself in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart! (Psalm 37:4)
