Dear Birth Parent,
We would like to express our gratitude and heart felt joy for
considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We realize that
the decision to place your child with an adoptive family requires
much courage, strength and fortitude. We are grateful for the chance
to provide this child with a lifetime of love and happiness. Since
we have a family member that has adopted and others that are
considering adoption, we feel this child will be gladly welcomed
throughout our entire family. Our lives have truly been enriched
throughout this process and what we have learned, experienced and
felt has allowed us to grow in so many ways.
As you view the pictures of our lives, family and special moments, know
that we are committed to providing a loving, stable, Christian home. We
enjoy being parents to our beautiful son and look forward to sharing that
joy with a loving daughter. We have a strong sense of family and are very
supportive of each other. In addition to our family commitment, we have also
established successful careers. As an engineer and pharmacist, we believe in
hard work, dedication and a good work ethic. These qualities ensure the
continued success of our careers so that we are able to provide a decent and
well-rounded life for our family.
Another important aspect of our lives is our family history. All of our
parents and some of our grandparents were in the education field as
teachers, coaches or principals. One of our grandfathers was a nationally
renowned chemist/physicist who worked on the atomic bomb during World War
II. It is because of this foundation deeply routed in the education field
and the success of our ancestors that we look forward to teaching our
children the values that were instilled in us. One thing you can be assured
of is that we are committed to providing this child with a strong Christian
foundation, a solid education, a lifetime of opportunities and most
important of all, our unconditional love.
We realize that with everything in life, decisions will have to be
made. Our prayer is that God gives you a sense of peace and confirmation
over your decision to choose us as parents for your daughter. In the bible,
1 Corinthians 13:13 states, “And now abide faith, hope and love, these
three; but the greatest of these is love.” We know that what you are doing
is symbolic of that greatest act. And out of the same love that you give
your child life and place her into a loving adoptive family, it will be that
same love that we receive her. Thank you so much for allowing us to be apart
of your child’s life.
